Here is a flier for use in celebrating Mother’s Day.

Mother’s Day is this Sunday, May 13, 2018. Here is a flier marking the occasion but noting that all mothers, and fathers, would benefit from paid parental leave.

THERE ARE LOTS OF REASONS TO SUPPORT PAID PARENTAL LEAVE IN THE FEDERAL WORKPLACE: Reduces turnover; Increases productivity; Improves morale; Reduces absenteeism; Helps attract younger workers; But the best one— PRECIOUS TIME WITH A NEW CHILD. NTEU’s Mother’s Day Flier

NTEU is supporting legislation to provide federal employees with six weeks of paid parental leave so no new parent has to choose between spending critical bonding time with the newest member of the family or earning desperately needed paychecks.

Please post and distribute this flier in the workplace per the CBA, Article 5, Section 14 (decorate workspace), and Article 9, Section 8 (bulletin boards).
