House Passes Short-Term Continuing Resolution

Seal of the U.S. House of RepresentativesThis evening, the House of Representatives passed a short-term Continuing Resolution (CR), H.R. 195, to continue funding federal agencies at FY17 levels until February 16, 2018, by a vote of 230 to 197. Introduction of Bill to Provide Short-Term Disability to Federal Workers

Yesterday, Representative Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) introduced H.R. 4806, a bill to help provide financial relief for federal employees who have a short-term injury or disability, become pregnant, or develop a pregnancy-related illness.
