Government Funding Update

Action is needed by Friday, December 8th to provide continued government funding for the remainder of FY 2018, and to avoid a shutdown.

Action is also needed to address the nation’s debt limit (it has been suspended temporarily under the CR), as well as for the overall statutory spending caps for FY 2018, otherwise sequestration would be triggered in January causing immediate across-the-board spending cuts. FEEA Scholarship Open

The 2018 FEEA scholarship application is now available.

Federal Employee Education and Assistance Fund (FEEA) logoThe annual Federal Employee Education and Assistance Fund (FEEA) scholarship application period is open through March 21, 2018. Current civilian federal and postal employees with at least three years of service can apply. Around 300 students will win scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $5,000, with an additional $5,000 through the FEEA-NTEU Scholarship.
