NTEU Shared Vision Report

As part of our Shared Vision initiative, NTEU last summer embarked on a major research project to inform our future planning.

The Shared Vision Project (logo)The Shared Vision Project was a comprehensive research study that examined what our members, leaders, and prospective members want and need from our union. Its purpose was to provide us with the data and insight into the views, needs, and perceptions of our members, stewards, officers, chapter presidents, and bargaining unit employees.

The research allowed us to take a fresh look at the needs and challenges across our agencies and provide us with the data that will further enable us to ensure our resources are being deployed appropriately and to develop strategies to engage our members, enhance our communications and services, and continue our great legacy of serving the federal workforce. NTEU National President Tony Reardon and I thank those who participated in this study for sharing valuable time and meaningful feedback with us.

NTEU is providing a report detailing some of the highlights and action items developed from the survey results. NTEU will be sharing this report with our members via the NTEU e-Bulletin, the October issue of the NTEU Bulletin, and on the web site.

As always, thank you for your invaluable feedback.
