I recently learned that some supervisors have misinformed employees on when Compensatory Time for Travel (CTT) starts and/or ends. According to the regulations and guidance on this subject, CTT starts the moment you leave your home and ends when you enter your hotel room, minus the normal commute time between your home and your permanent duty station.
