Bipartisan Bill on TSP Withdrawal Flexibilities Introduced

604px-us-thriftsavingsplan-logo-svg_NTEU has heard from many members over the years about the stringent withdrawal rules of the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP). As a member of the Employee Thrift Advisory Council, NTEU has raised the issue many times. This year, with bipartisan support in the Senate, a bill has been introduced which would allow active federal employees to make multiple age-based withdrawals from their TSP accounts and to remain eligible for partial withdrawals once they leave government as well. ORA Program Alignment Formal Meetings

Change brings opportunityYou probably have or will view this week a video from the Associate Commissioner of Regulatory Affairs (ACRA) Mel Plaisier, the head of the FDA Office of Regulatory Affairs (ORA), on Program Alignment implementation. Please note that FDA (the Agency) and NTEU (the Union) are still bargaining on Program Alignment and have agreed to these meetings so that the Agency could share information about the initiative.
