Which organization has provided more than $25 million to federal employees in need? The Federal Employee Education and Assistance Fund (FEEA). This year, FEEA celebrates its 30th anniversary and NTEU is proud to be a founding member of FEEA and an active partner in its ongoing mission.
That mission is to provide emergency assistance to federal employees who are victims of natural or man-made disasters, help employees with everyday financial emergencies and to provide scholarship assistance to employees and their families.
FEEA also stepped up in the wake of terrorist attacks in Oklahoma City, at the Pentagon on 9/11, and overseas to provide children who lost parents in those attacks with financial help for college.
“There is no other organization like FEEA out there to help the federal workforce,” said President Tony Reardon. “I am proud to support FEEA’s efforts.”
