NTEU Supports Paid Parental Leave

Studies have shown that employers offering paid parental leave see reduced turnover, increased productivity, better morale and reduced absenteeism. Despite the benefits, the United States remains one of only two industrialized nations without paid parental leave.

Legislation, H.R. 532, introduced by Rep. Carolyn Maloney would change that. NTEU is supporting this bill to provide six weeks of paid parental leave to federal employees.
