ACRA visit to Laredo

Associate Commissioner for Regulatory Affairs Mel Plaisier

I just represented the Union and spoke on behalf of the employees in the ORA SWID Laredo Resident Post during a meet-and-greet with the Associate Commissioner for Regulatory Affairs (ACRA) Mel Plaisier, head of the FDA Office of Regulatory Affairs. Interestingly, the ACRA is fully aware of our concerns and grievances. So, why nothing has been done about it yet? This is why it is imperative that we continue fighting for our rights.

Did you know that, at best, the agency only pays 50% of union representational travel? Our chapter has to pay 50% or more of such travel, and union dues are our only source of income. Please help us help you by joining today.
