Overbearing boss, "You don't need NTEU. I will take care of you."We can be more strategic and concise in writing than verbally. Written documentation of management’s statements and orders serve as more solid evidence than verbal recollection, particularly if done soon after the fact. The same goes with PMAP self-assessments and rebuttal memos. We should never underestimate the power of the written word. Much like an investigator documents a conversation with an affidavit, we must document verbal statements with an email or memo.
