Official travelOn January 21, 2016, FDA provided notice to NTEU that it plans to implement guidance for FDA employees regarding the Travel Card and ATM programs. Per the notice, the purpose of the guidance is to bring the travel card and ATM programs into compliance with the most recent version of the HHS Travel Policy Manual.

  1. We had a briefing on this revised SMG this afternoon. The agency has agreed to include language which provides exceptions to the Zero Tolerance Policy due to untimely reimbursement from the agency, credit card “re-aging,” and payment of late fees. Please let me know if you have additional questions/comments about the SMG no later than this Thursday, February 4, at noon. Thank you.
